Our Story
Dotson Inspections was founded in 2014 by the late Chris Dotson, whose decades of experience in home design and construction shaped the company’s foundation. With a background in Dotson Drafting and Design, and later as the owner of Mandolin Homes, Chris brought a passion for quality and a deep understanding of the building process.
Today, under the leadership of Jan Dotson, the family business continues to grow while honoring Chris’s legacy. What began as a small operation has become a trusted partner for financial institutions across multiple states. Each week, the dedicated team completes over 100 inspections, supporting banks and lenders of every size—from large institutions to local community banks.
At the heart, Dotson Inspections is a faith based company that values relationships, communication, and integrity. Dotson Inspections remains committed to consistent, timely inspections and to serving clients with honesty, professionalism, and care—carrying forward the mission Chris began.
